1. MEAL FOR A DAY SCHEME

 

A donation of $160 ($132 US) will be deposited in a bank.  The interest earned will be used to feed 25 to 30 children for one day each year, year after year. This feeding includes one day’s expenses for feeding, clothing, education, medical treatment and rehabilitation .  This is a very popular plan for individual donors who want their birthday or wedding anniversary celebrated in a special way. We will make sure that 25 to 30 disabled, needy children get the feeding on that day every year.   Our goal is to set up a sizable amount so that several days of feedings in a year can be covered.

HCI has so far collected for over 140 days under this scheme.  I take this opportunity to thank all our donors who contributed for this scheme and those who made general donations.  Be assured that your special days are being honoured by ASSA by providing the feeding and thanked by the children at ASSA. An endowment of  $1700 (U$ 1395) will sponsor the complete care of one child.  The money will be kept in a fixed deposit .  The interest will be used to take care of the food, clothing, education, medical and rehabilitation expenses of one child, until the child completes high school and progresses to college or vocational training.  The sponsorship will then be transferred to another child. The endowment fund created in your name will remain for ever to brighten the lives of many needy children. 

We are providing you with more options if you can’t make this one time payment.

Children with mental challenges, may never reach the stage to receive professional training and hence may need to be supported for life.

 

A. $1700 (US$1395) - one time payment to create the endowment or

 

  1. Commit $30 ($25 US) per month. With this option no endowment will be created.

  1. Commit  $100($83 US)/month, for only 24 months. (see item C)

 

  1. Commit  $170 ($140 US)/month, for only 12 months. The endowment will be created at the end of 12    months.  Your full payment is completed for the child being sponsored.

  1. Commit  $77 ($64 US)/month, for only 36 months. (see item C)
