Medical History:

He had a normal delivery. He often gets fits, for which he is under medication for.

Training Given at Nesam School:

1.      To prevent him from going into bad habits, he is advised by the teachers patiently.

2.    He is made to concentrate in lessons.  The alphabets and numbers are being taught.  He is asked to identify his name as well as other pictures with their names.

3.    Health awareness and cleanliness are being taught.  Though he is able to do his activities of daily life himself, he does not know to maintain cleanliness.

4.    He is not advised no to shake his head often. 

5.    Painting of the pictures and making paper envelopes are taught as vocational training.

OTHER CHARACTERISTICS

•   He is independent in eating, toileting and dressing. But he does not participate in any of the classroom activities.

•   He just sits and.  Looks vaguely and there is no response of any kind. He is not able to relate any picture with the real object.

•   His problem behaviours like, head shaking, truancy, and spitting are reduced within the school premises.  Giggling is still there.

•   He participates in vocational activities like making paper covers with support.
