FINANCIAL UPDATE

(Fundraising event)

In keeping with our promise to utilize your donations to the fullest for the charitable activities, we have consistently maintained a high disbursement rate from all donations received. Our administrative expense for the fundraising segment was approximately 1% of the donations collected.  The details of the money put towards the charitable projects can be found in our online newsletter at:

YOUTH VOLUNTEERS

This summer, three of our youths volunteered at one of our organizations in India, Amar Seva Sangam (ASSA).  Dinesh, Rajan and John stayed at the Sangam for a month, interacting with the youths and children that lived there (photo below). They also completed a field study visiting rural areas with affected children and their families to evaluate the condition of the disabled in rural India. They also investigated the quality of rehabilitation offered at ASSA and developed suggestions and recommendations for more efficient processes at the Sangam. Their report can be viewed at our website at this link (Microsoft Word is required to view the document):
