Meet Ramkumar, a 9-year-old boy with cerebral palsy. Since March of 2018, Ramkumar has been receiving physiotherapy, speech therapy, special education, and functional independence training at Amar Seva Sangam.

When Ramkumar first arrived at Amar Seva Sangam, he had very low mobility. However, after receiving a standing frame, bilateral ankle-foot orthosis (AFO) braces, and bilateral knee gaiters from Handi-Care Intl., Ramkumar has made incredible progress. Using the standing frame for one hour every morning and evening, Ramkumar is now able to stand with support. With continuous physiotherapy, he has also achieved walking with support.

Ramkumar’s journey doesn’t stop here. With these amazing improvements, he is set to receive a walker to help him increase his mobility and achieve more independence. His dedication, along with the unwavering support of our Handi-Care donors and the Amar Seva Sangam team, has made this possible.
