Student Evaluation Requirement

Each Canadian university provides an evaluation form for their students and each student placed in India is required to be assessed by the supervising Physiotherapist or the off site Occupational therapist. The students are evaluated on different aspects and each student is requested to get familiarized with the evaluation requirements provided by their university prior to placement.

As part of the clinical placement, the host site Amar Seva Sangam (ASSA) requires each PT or OT student to present on a relevant topic to a panel of rehabilitation staff at ASSA. The topics are listed below for each category. The student can choose one or more of these topics to present while in India. It is suggested that students prepare their presentations prior to their departure for their clinical placement.
