HOW IS HCI RUN?
Learning more about Handi-Care Intl.
- Handi-Care Intl. is run by volunteers. It is run in a home office. Office space and all administration hours donated. The organization is supported by a host of enthusiastic, dedicated and committed volunteers. This has enabled HCI to consistently disburse in excess of 97% of funds it has raised towards charitable activities.
- HCI has a board of Directors and officers as well as subcommittees, such as the "Development Committee," "Advisory Board," and a "Fundraising Committee." The board members are elected where as the other committees have members who are appointed.
- Anyone interested and willing to join any of the committees are welcome to contact us, as we welcome persons with new skills, energies and ideas to take us forward. Please email us at info@handicareintl.org.
- HCI is a registered charity, tax receipts are issued for all donations of $20.00 or more received.
- HCI conducts annual fund raising events, apart from sustained commitments from kind hearted, empathetic persons of the community.
- The fundraising events are also focal activities aimed at “Raising Awareness” in the community and motivating Youth members to greater participation.
