Ms. Dhanabakyalaksmi is affected by a rare neuro-muscular disorder right from her childhood. In spite of her crippling condition, she is a great achiever. She has completed X std with flying colours, scoring 443 / 500. Currently she is enrolled in XII Std. Upon completion, she aspires to study accounting and perhaps study CA.She came to Amar Seva Sangam in May 2016 and ASSA enrolled her in Vocational training at the tailoring centre. With only the right hand and leg functioning, she has learnt to sew and currently working as a trainee in the newly built Tailoring centre, supported by HCI and its donor. Dhanabakyalaksmi recently received a power wheelchair, sponsored by a generous donor of HCI.  Please click here to view her video.
